Sheet Anchor was established by Allen Sutton to provide a Biblical perspective on, and instruction for addressing and managing, the national, social, cultural, and personal affairs of everyday living. Its mission is to educate and encourage people in managing the important affairs of American life based upon Biblical values, principles, and commandments. The ministry develops and publishes perspectives on current geo-political and domestic issues based upon a critical analysis of the relevant facts and circumstances, without regard to political affiliations. The name "Sheet Anchor," originates from the quotation, "Hold fast to the Bible as the sheet anchor of your liberties; write its precepts on your hearts and practice them in your lives," by Civil War Union Army General-in-Chief, and 18th President of the United States, Ulysses S. Grant, meaning that the precepts encompassed within the Scripture reflect the foundational tenets of American freedom.

Mr. Sutton is an independent consultant and professor of management for a private university. He holds Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees in marketing and finance, respectively, from the University of Denver, Denver Colorado. His background includes over 25 years of professional management experience, as a consultant, executive, and professor.
